Drew Waters is a digital and video installation artist residing in Brooklyn, New York. Born in Melbourne, Australia, he completed studies in:
Interactive Multimedia at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology,
Cinema Studies at La Trobe University (B.A. Honors).
Photography at ICP, New York.
As well as creating works of art, Drew is a freelance video editor and digital media manager in New York.

Through the medium of digital art I am interested in uncovering modes of spectatorship, electronic narratives and the ways in which we participate as consumers of these narratives. Using the mediums of video and photography within the context of an installation space allows the re-examination of the structures that we are immersed in as we consume endless streams of broadcast information.
